Band 7 | Full-time | Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm | No weekend working currently expected

Hours: 35+ hours per week, with some flexibility

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Practitioner to join an Adult Community Mental Health Team, supporting adults with serious and complex mental health needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with senior clinical leadership, working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, personalised and recovery-focused care.

What you'll be doing

• Provide senior clinical support and leadership within the CMHT.
• Manage an agreed caseload of people with complex mental health needs.
• Complete assessments, formulation, care planning and risk management.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic and recovery-focused interventions.
• Support complex cases, safeguarding and clinical decision-making.
• Contribute to MDT meetings, clinical huddles and case formulation.
• Provide supervision, advice and support to Band 6 practitioners and other colleagues.
• Support service improvement, quality and safe caseload management.
• Work closely with GPs, crisis and inpatient services, social care and other partners.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced, confident mental health professional who can work independently while providing positive clinical leadership to others.

You will have strong experience in community mental health, complex case management, assessment, risk management and multidisciplinary working, together with a genuine commitment to person-centred and recovery-focused care.
