Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve secure and reusable cloud automation solutions in Microsoft Azure environments;
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules, templates and workflows using Terraform;
• Develop backend services and REST APIs , mainly using Java/Spring;
• Contribute to full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue;
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines , preferably using GitHub Actions;
• Integrate Azure services with platforms such as GitHub, identity services and ServiceNow through APIs;
• Implement automated functional, regression and deployment testing;
• Support cloud security, identity, governance and policy enforcement;
• Automate recurring operational activities using scripting technologies such as PowerShell;
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting capabilities;
• Support automation around Azure data processing and analytics services;
• Contribute to the reliability, performance and security of production cloud services;
• Collaborate with international Cloud, DevOps and Engineering teams.

The role combines cloud engineering, software development and platform automation within a large-scale Azure environment.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of professional experience , with experience working in international environments;
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code ;
• Strong experience with CI/CD and DevOps workflows , ideally GitHub Actions;
• Strong development experience with Java/Spring and REST APIs ;
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and public-cloud architecture ;
• Experience integrating cloud platforms and APIs;
• Strong knowledge of automated testing and quality engineering;
• Experience with scripting and operational automation, preferably PowerShell;
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and other Azure data processing services;
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity and governance;
• Experience with monitoring and production operations;
• Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes/AKS ;
• Fluent English;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Alfragide, 2 days per week , with Thursday as a mandatory office day.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Event Hubs or Event Grid ;
• Familiarity with Azure storage and database services such as ADLS Gen2, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL or SQL Server;
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services or AI-related Azure services;
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise cloud environments;
• Previous experience in platform engineering or self-service cloud platforms;
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow through APIs.
