Senior Cloud AWS Engineer

Cloud AWS Engineer | Location: Remote | Contract | Hourly Pay Range: $110-$120 We are seeking a skilled Cloud AWS Engineer to support enterprise-level AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on operations, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, security, and best practices. This role involves developing and implementing IaC using Terraform and scripting languages, supporting AWS application development tools, and providing documentation to optimize cloud configurations. Collaboration within an Agile team and participation in an on-call rotation are essential components of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and enterprise environments.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and automation solutions.
• Support AWS application development tools and configure cloud environments.
• Create procedures and documentation to establish AWS best practices and operational processes.
• Support security requirements across various AWS environment scenarios.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS environments and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with team members through Agile ceremonies and practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure continuous support and operational stability.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced experience with AWS operations and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS application development and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Go, Python, and GitLab/CI/CD.
• Proficiency with AWS scripting, automation, and monitoring tools.
• Strong technical background in Linux environments and AWS Lambda/serverless technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and documenting AWS cloud best practices and operational procedures.
• Support experience for enterprise-scale AWS environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security and secure infrastructure configurations.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
