Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team on a nearshore basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and the ability to work autonomously across the full development lifecycle. You will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering cloud-based solutions for leading global companies, while mentoring teammates and working directly with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Delivery: Perform tasks across all phases of the development cycle with little or no technical supervision, delivering complex work on time and within scope.
• Problem Solving: Assess challenging technical situations, gain a clear understanding of the problems involved, and propose effective cloud solutions.
• Design & Development: Design and code complete software modules and tackle difficult coding tasks on cloud environments.
• Code Quality: Perform code reviews and promote best practices across the team.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Take a leadership role among peers and coach junior and semi-senior engineers.
• Client Communication: Attend conference calls and maintain email communication with clients, providing technical updates and managing expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven senior-level experience as a Cloud Engineer or Software Engineer working on cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex deliverables.
• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English (B2–C1), written and verbal, to interact effectively with US/Global clients.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
