Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Job ID: MJ000409 We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with a deep specialization in Networking to join our Cloud Operation team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional core infrastructure and modern, software-defined software architectures. You will treat the network as software, designing self-service platforms and automated infrastructure that enable our application teams to deploy securely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Architect and operate secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant routing topologies across multiple public cloud ecosystems (e.g. AWS, GCP, AliCloud).
• Manage global transit routing utilizing standard protocols (such as BGP and IPsec) alongside cloud-native equivalents like AWS Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect.
• Drive cost and performance optimizations by auditing egress patterns, managing traffic distribution, and engineering efficient data pathways.
• Own the configuration and scalability of advanced Kubernetes network policies, ingress controllers, CNI plug-ins (e.g., Cilium, Calico).
• Implement zero-trust security principles through fine-grained network segmentation, end-to-end encryption (mTLS), and secure secret governance.
• Serve as the top-tier escalation engineer for troubleshooting complex distributed systems incidents that platform generalists or basic AI diagnostics cannot resolve.

What You'll Bring Core Capabilities

• 7+ years of total infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3 years explicitly focused on designing cloud-scale networks and virtual software-defined infrastructures.
• Proven track record within a high-growth SaaS or large-scale digital environment operating enterprise production environments.
• Mastery of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, NAT, firewalls, and complex distributed routing tables.
• Advanced hands-on implementation capabilities across major providers (AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, AliCloud, Tencent Cloud, etc.).
• Strong scripting capabilities in at least one modern language to write controllers, scripts, or operators for network scaling.
• Expertise with declarative IaC.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Network or cloud specialty certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNP).
• Background in network observability tooling (e.g., eBPF, Prometheus, Grafana, VPC Flow Logs analysis).
