Senior CMS Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly translate and migrate complex Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready CMS implementations, primarily utilizing WordPress, Elementor, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Act as a technical liaison during project planning. Translate high-level client requirements into clear, measurable technical milestones, ensuring stakeholder alignment before and during development.
• Audit and enhance website performance using industry-standard optimization plugins (e.g., caching, image compression, database management) and implement advanced customization functionality to support complex site architectures.
• Enforce rigorous security best practices across all web environments. Proactively audit for and mitigate vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and risks associated with third-party dependencies and supply-chain attacks.
• Produce clean, semantic, and fully responsive HTML and CSS that accurately reflects the approved design across all breakpoints and devices.
• Manage the full delivery cycle (staging, internal QA, client review, production launch). Configure and troubleshoot domain/hosting infrastructure, including DNS records (A, CNAME), SSL certificates, reverse proxies (Cloudflare), and complex host migrations.
• Diagnose and resolve structural issues on live client websites, including form failures, layout regressions, plugin conflicts, and performance degradation.
• Collaborate closely with the design team on feasibility, document development processes, build reusable components, and uphold consistent quality standards across the agency.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on professional web development experience, with a demonstrable, deep expertise in the WordPress ecosystem.
• Proven expertise in other popular CMS frameworks, specifically Webflow and HubSpot , is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to accurately translate static UI/UX designs from Figma into dynamic, structured CMS environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently translate business needs into technical deliverables for non-technical stakeholders.
• High working proficiency in Elementor and practical, advanced experience using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) for structured content mapping.
• Deep familiarity with popular WordPress plugins used for optimization (e.g., WP Rocket, LiteSpeed) and advanced functionality (data management, dynamic fields, custom post types).
• Comprehensive understanding of CMS vulnerability vectors (SQLi, XSS, CSRF), secure credential handling, safe plugin lifecycle management, and supply-chain risk mitigation.
• Advanced HTML and CSS skills (including Flexbox, CSS Grid, and modern responsive techniques) alongside sound JavaScript fundamentals (DOM manipulation, event handling, browser script execution).
• Working knowledge of essential web infrastructure, including DNS management, nameserver configuration, Cloudflare setups, and SSL issuance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading technical teams, mentoring junior developers, or overseeing complex, multi-developer projects.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React.js) and backend frameworks (preferably Laravel).
• Familiarity with browser automation and testing tooling such as Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Prior experience thriving in a fast-paced agency environment, managing concurrent client projects and tight deadlines.
