Senior C#/.NET Developer

Our team works on award winning cross-platform Office File API (includes Excel Spreadsheet API, Word API, and PDF API); RichTextEditor controls, Spreadsheet controls, PDF Viewer and Spellchecker that target WinForms and WPF platforms. They feature a wide range of components, an extensive API, a large number of automated tests, and a complex architecture based on OOP principles. Consequently, we place special emphasis on backward compatibility and maintainability.
We are seeking an experienced Senior C#/.NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our established product line. In this role, you will help ensure that our components remain stable and effective for users, while adapting to practical market needs.

Team's Technological and Methodological Practices:

• Kanban methodology.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD), Feature-Driven Development (FDD).
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Adherence to best practices in software development.
• Leadership in continuous improvement of the team's technological and methodological practices.

Job responsibilities:

• Work with office document formats (e.g., DOCX, DOC, XLSX, XLS, PDF).
• Develop both user interfaces and non-visual libraries.
• Identify and fix defects, maintain and enhance legacy code.
• Contribute to the development and design of new features, participating in architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and code quality.
• Take a leadership role in team activities, driving improvements in processes and practices.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and foster knowledge sharing.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in C# and .NET / .NET Framework development.
• Strong understanding and practical application of algorithms and data structures.
• Deep understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience in writing Unit Tests and applying TDD practices.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Proven ability to mentor and support the growth of junior and mid-level developers.
• Experience in leading or coordinating technical initiatives and projects.

Nice to have:

• Experience with WinForms or WPF development.
• Expertise in maintaining and refactoring legacy codebases.
• Familiarity with graphics programming (e.g., GDI+, SkiaSharp).
• Experience in debugging and running cross-platform .NET applications (Windows, Linux).
• Prior experience working with office document formats (DOCX, XLSX, PDF).
• Strong ability to quickly understand unfamiliar code and resolve issues.
