Senior Coding Instructor

Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way - by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and cannot wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Coding Instructor to join our team. As a Senior Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs and mentoring junior instructors. If you are passionate about teaching and have expertise in Java Script, C#, Python, Unity, with a love for Video games, we welcome you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons from Code Ninjas proprietory curriculum

• Create comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students' needs and skill levels.

• Mentor and support junior instructors in enhancing their teaching techniques.

• Monitor and assess student progress to provide constructive feedback for improvement.

• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in software development or willing to learn

• Prior experience in classroom instruction or educational settings.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

• Passion for educating and empowering students to succeed in the tech industry.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
