Senior Collection Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery and portfolio performance.
• Set collection targets and KPIs and monitor performance against business objectives.
• Manage and lead internal collection teams to achieve recovery targets and improve productivity.
• Manage outsourced collection agencies, including performance monitoring, target setting, and operational improvement.
• Analyze portfolio performance and recovery trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and recovery assumptions to support portfolio planning and decision-making.
• Optimize collection processes and treatment strategies to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee legal recovery and litigation activities, ensuring appropriate follow-up and effective case management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including customer complaints and collection practices.
• Prepare management reports and provide key insights to support senior management, NPL evaluation, and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in collections, debt recovery, or NPL management within a financial institution, AMC, or collection agency.
• Strong knowledge of NPL management and legal recovery processes.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and outsourced collection agencies.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and performance management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive team performance and achieve business targets.
