Senior Communications Advisor

Your new company
Join a busy communications team delivering a broad range of communications across a complex environment. This opportunity will suit an experienced communications professional who is comfortable stepping into a role quickly, managing competing priorities and delivering quality work from day one. This temporary opportunity is available for an immediate start for a 5-6 month period.

Your new role
As Senior Communications Advisor, you will provide communications advice and support across a broad range of projects and priorities. You'll work across written communications, digital and social media content, marketing activity and stakeholder communications.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, develop clear messaging and deliver communications suited to different audiences and channels. You'll be comfortable picking up existing work, responding to changing priorities and working as part of an established communications team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in a senior communications role
• Previous government communications experience
• Strong writing, editing and content development skills
• Experience across digital and social media communications
• Exposure to marketing and campaign activity
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to quickly understand new projects and pick up existing work
• Experience within health communications would be highly regarded
• The successful candidate must be willing for Hays to run a national police clearance prior to commencing in the role
