Senior Compensation Analyst

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial analysis, advanced Excel, and working with large data sets. This role offers an opportunity for a sharp Financial Analyst to expand into compensation, gaining valuable experience in financial modeling, incentive compensation, workforce analytics, and cross-functional business partnership. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly compensation processes, including commission and incentive calculations, validation, reconciliation, and reporting
• Analyze compensation, sales, revenue, and headcount data to identify trends, variances, and business insights
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting using Excel, SQL, and Power BI
• Support sales incentive and commission plan modeling, including new hires, terminations, and plan changes
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve recurring reporting and compensation processes
• Partner with Finance, HR, Sales, Payroll, and business leaders to resolve issues and support decision-making
• Maintain accurate documentation and controls around compensation calculations and processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, compensation, commissions, or a related analytical role
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookups, and large-dataset manipulation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with SQL and Power BI preferred
• Experience with process automation using Power Query, VBA, Python, or similar tools preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
