Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation

Overview

Swoon is hiring a Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation for our Fortune 500 banking client. This is a fully remote, 6-month contract with benefits including Health, Dental & Vision. In this role, you’ll support a team transitioning from manual validations and incentive calculations to a new compensation platform. You’ll use advanced Excel skills to analyze data, reconcile results, and identify discrepancies while working with field employees to obtain missing information.

What You’ll Do

• Review incentive compensation submissions, identify missing information, and follow up with field and sales employees to complete records.
• Use advanced Excel functions to organize, compare, and analyze large datasets.
• Support incentive calculations, data validation, and reconciliations.
• Compare results from existing processes against the new system during parallel testing.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify potential causes, and help reconcile differences.
• Communicate findings clearly and handle sensitive compensation information with care.
• Support evolving testing and project needs throughout the system transition.

What You’ll Bring

You’re highly proficient in Excel and comfortable using lookup functions, INDEX formulas, and other tools to compare datasets and investigate variances. You bring strong analytical judgment, careful attention to detail, and an understanding of incentive or compensation processes. You communicate professionally, follow through on outstanding requests, and take initiative when solving problems. You’re comfortable learning new systems, working independently, and bringing thoughtful recommendations to your manager.

Experience in banking, particularly trust, investments, or lending, would be helpful. Familiarity with Varicent, Salesforce, or Microsoft Access is an additional plus.
