Senior Compiler Engineer, Agentic Compiler Systems

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Compiler Engineer, Agentic Compiler Systems to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on advancing intelligent compiler workflows that improve performance, correctness, and scalability across GPU-centric systems. You will work closely with teams across software and hardware to design low-level compiler capabilities, validation infrastructure, and optimization tooling. The position calls for strong technical depth in compiler implementation, program analysis, and numerical computing, with an emphasis on building robust systems that support modern AI-driven development.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $152,000 – $241,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize intelligent low-level compiler systems, including workflows and memory orchestration.
• Develop systems for reasoning about low-level IR and performance tradeoffs in GPU workloads.
• Build infrastructure for numerical validation and correctness verification of code.
• Co-design compiler and verification workflows across the software stack.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new capabilities into products.
• Drive performance analysis focused on correctness and scalability of code.
• Develop tooling for continuous improvement of compiler quality and robustness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent; MS or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in compilers, AI systems, numerical computing, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience in compiler implementation, program analysis, or performance engineering.
• Familiarity with coding agents, compiler automation, numerical analysis, or program verification.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python; experience with Rust is a plus.
• Experience with GPU programming and optimization using accelerated computing platforms or similar platforms.
• Ability to work effectively across software and hardware systems.
