Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Senior Computer Vision Engineer | Robotics | Boston, MA

I’m working with a VC-backed robotics company in Boston that’s moving past demos and into real deployments. Their robots work in messy, unpredictable environments, and perception is the thing that makes or breaks them.

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll own the perception stack from model to robot. Your models will run on hardware doing real work, not just in notebooks.

What you’ll do

• Design, train and ship vision models for detection, segmentation and pose estimation on real robots
• Work directly with the robotics, controls and hardware teams, so you can see your work move something in the real world
• Build the data and evaluation loops that make perception better every week
• Shape technical direction on a small, senior-heavy team

What you bring

• Strong CS fundamentals and production-quality Python and/or C++
• Hands-on experience building and deploying vision models, not only fine-tuning off-the-shelf ones
• A solid classical CV foundation (geometry, calibration, 3D) alongside modern deep learning
• Experience with real sensors, real data and real-world failure modes
