Springboard Success is delighted to be partnering with a leading B2B events business that runs a highly regarded portfolio of conferences in the finance space. Their events bring together senior decision-makers, industry leaders and solution providers to debate the issues shaping the sector, and they have built a strong reputation for content that is genuinely insightful, timely and commercially relevant.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Conference Producer to take ownership of a portfolio of flagship events. This is a high-profile role with real influence over the direction and quality of the content, offering the chance to work with some of the most senior figures in the industry.

The role

As Senior Conference Producer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end content process, from initial market research through to delivery on the day. You will shape agendas that attract a senior audience and support the commercial success of each event.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-depth market research through extensive phone and face-to-face conversations with senior industry figures, identifying the key challenges, trends and opportunities facing the market
• Translating that research into compelling, commercially focused agendas covering topics such as regulation, risk, technology, innovation and digital transformation
• Identifying, approaching and securing high-calibre speakers, including C-level executives, senior industry leaders and subject-matter experts
• Writing engaging conference copy, session descriptions and marketing content that drives delegate attendance
• Working closely with the sponsorship team to identify commercial opportunities and integrate sponsor content into the programme
• Partnering with the marketing team to position each event effectively and support audience acquisition targets
• Managing speaker relationships and logistics throughout the event lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for all contributors
• Overseeing content delivery on-site, including session management and speaker liaison
• Gathering post-event feedback and using insight to develop and evolve future editions of each event
• Mentoring, guiding and supporting more junior members of the production team

About you

The successful candidate will be a confident, commercially minded producer with a track record of delivering high-quality B2B conference content. You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience as a Conference Producer within B2B events, ideally at Senior level or ready to step up
• A background producing content in financial services or a closely related sector, which is highly desirable
• Confidence and credibility when engaging with senior executives, both over the phone and face to face
• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly get to grips with complex subject matter
• A sharp commercial instinct, with an understanding of what makes an event sell to delegates and sponsors
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and engaging copy
• First-class organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across sales, marketing and operations
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues would be an advantage
