Senior Conflicts Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Flexible

Salary Range: $95,000–$115,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join the Office of the General Counsel at a leading global law firm. This position plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s client and attorney intake processes by conducting sophisticated conflicts research and preparing detailed reports for attorneys, analysts, and business professionals.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with sensitive information in a fast-paced professional services environment. You will use Intapp Open and other internal and external resources to evaluate potential conflicts, research corporate relationships, and ensure that conflicts information is accurate and complete.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams while taking on increasingly complex matters and contributing to the effectiveness of the firm’s conflicts and risk-management processes.

What You’ll Do

Analyze complex conflicts matters and efficiently prepare reports related to new clients, matters, lateral attorney candidates, and other business-intake requests.

Support projects and research requests from senior legal and business stakeholders, including ethics and client intake committees and the Office of the General Counsel.

Review conflicts requests, identify missing or inconsistent information, and work directly with attorneys and support teams to clarify requirements.

Conduct corporate and entity research using internal databases and external research tools to verify relationships, ownership, and other relevant information.

Maintain and update records within the firm’s conflicts database, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and current.

Consult with attorneys and other conflicts professionals when additional guidance is needed to appropriately assess potential conflicts.

Help train, coach, and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Handle highly confidential, privileged, proprietary, and sensitive business and financial information with discretion and professionalism.

Contribute to process improvements and other special projects designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of the conflicts function.

What We’re Looking For

You are a thoughtful problem-solver who can navigate complex information, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with large amounts of information.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when working with attorneys, leadership, and professional support teams.

Exceptional organization and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize competing requests and meet multiple deadlines.

Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential and privileged information.

The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 3 years of experience in a legal, law firm, or professional services environment.

Experience with conflicts databases, legal technology, corporate research, or client intake processes is a plus.

Familiarity with Intapp Open or similar conflicts management platforms is preferred.

Compensation & Work Environment

Salary Range: $95,000–$115,000 per year

This position is based in Atlanta, GA and may offer a flexible work arrangement combining remote and in-office work, depending on business needs.

If you are an analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working with attorneys and senior stakeholders, and playing an important role in managing legal and business risk, we encourage you to apply.
