Senior Connected Vehicle O&M Engineer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Connected Vehicle O&M Engineer to join our team in Mexico and support the operation of our connected vehicle platforms and services.

Purpose

Responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of Jetour's connected vehicle systems, ensuring that the platforms connecting our vehicles, mobile application and cloud services operate correctly.

The position will monitor systems, identify and troubleshoot technical issues, support vehicle software updates, analyze data and coordinate with international technical teams to ensure a stable and reliable connected vehicle experience.

Position Tasks and Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily operation and performance of connected vehicle systems.
• Manage and support TSP (Telematics Service Platform/Provider) , the platform that connects vehicle data with Jetour's systems and mobile application.
• Support OTA (Over-The-Air) software updates, including preparation, monitoring and follow-up of vehicle updates.
• Analyze OTA results and calculate software update failure rates.
• Monitor the APP (mobile application) backend and provide technical support for connected vehicle-related issues.
• Analyze system logs (system records) to identify errors and determine possible causes.
• Perform SQL (database queries) to retrieve and analyze vehicle and system information.
• Monitor and manage cloud resources using platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Aliyun (Alibaba Cloud) .
• Use basic Linux commands and tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Support account, access and permission management for connected vehicle platforms.
• Coordinate with local teams, after-sales teams and other departments to investigate and resolve customer-related technical issues.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the second-level technical team in China and follow up until resolution.
• Support cross-border data checks and ensure that relevant information is properly managed.
• Prepare operation and maintenance reports, technical documentation and incident reports.
• Provide technical information and training in English when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve system stability, monitoring and operational processes.

• Docker and Kubernetes are a plus
• Knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and vehicle cybersecurity is a plus

Experience / Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Operations, Cloud Operations, System Operations, IoT, IoV, Telematics or a related technical field.
• Experience in the automotive industry or connected vehicle technologies is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, SQL and Cloud platforms .
• Experience with AWS, Aliyun or similar public cloud platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems and analyzing technical incidents.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
