Senior Construction Accountant

Location: Project Site / Head Office
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Construction Accountant to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in construction accounting, project costing, financial reporting, and compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the company’s accounting operations and general ledger.
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Monitor project budgets, job costing, work-in-progress (WIP), and cost analysis.
* Review and reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and bank accounts.
* Ensure timely preparation and filing of BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG reports.
* Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis for management.
* Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
* Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to ensure accurate project financial reporting.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
* CPA license is an advantage.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting.
* Strong knowledge of project costing, job costing, WIP reporting, and financial reporting.
* Thorough understanding of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and accounting standards.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
