This firm provides sustainability, internal control review, internal audit outsourcing, risk advisory, implementation assistance, ESG reporting, and information technology advisory services to listed and private companies and is seeking candidates with the following qualifications to fill an associate position.

Senior Consultant (Ref: S2)

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree in accounting (BBA in accounting);
• Worked in the areas of accounting, auditing, internal control, or ESG for at least two years;
• Excellent English and Chinese writing and communication skills and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a challenging environment;
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills;
• Exposure to PowerPoint presentation preparation and delivery, flowchart method of documentation, and information system controls;
• Willingness to travel in the mainland;
• Proficiency in typing Chinese;
• Qualification and experience in IT control will be a plus.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Carrying out research and data collection to understand the industries and business environment in which organizations operate
• Interviewing clients’ employees, management team and other stakeholders
• Collating, verifying and analysing documents, data, and financial reports
• Assessing risks associated with organizations
• Reviewing policies, procedures, and controls, identifying deficiencies, and making recommendations to remedy and add value
• Performing control tests and preparing workpapers to document processes, procedures, controls, and test results
• Liaising with clients’ staff
• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending training and workshops
