Senior Content Creator

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a creative, proactive and visually driven Senior Content Creator to join our team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional social content, staying on top of trends, managing content production and publishing, engaging with our community, and using social insights to continuously improve our content.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, shoot and edit short-form social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads and Xiaohongshu (XHS).
• Develop creative visuals and content concepts based on campaign briefs while maintaining BookXcess's visual identity.
• Bring a strong visual and design eye to composition, layout, typography, colour and visual storytelling.
• Stay updated on social media trends and proactively translate relevant trends into fresh, brand-appropriate content.
• Take ownership of content from brief through production, scheduling and publishing, with guidance from the Social Media Manager.
• Manage content scheduling and ensure posts are published accurately and according to the agreed calendar.
• Monitor comments, tags and social activity while responding in line with BookXcess's brand voice and escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor social media performance against agreed goals and apply insights to improve future content.
• Execute approved Meta Ads and content boosting activities according to the agreed strategy and budget.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify gaps and potential issues early, communicate blockers clearly, and take ownership of deliverables and deadlines.
• Take feedback onboard and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of content.
