Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Content Deployment / Release Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to manage content deployments, release pipelines, and deployment operations across Linux-based environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Jenkins, Bamboo, and CI/CD deployment pipelines, along with the ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and support content-delivery integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage content deployments and release pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment and release-related issues across Linux-based environments.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate deployment and operational activities.
• Troubleshoot Linux- and Shell-level issues impacting application and content deployments.
• Support Box API integrations for content delivery.
• Monitor deployment health and application/release activities using Datadog.
• Work with Node.js and MySQL as required for deployment and application support activities.
• Manage source control and release activities using SVN and Git.
• Support applications and deployment components involving Perl, Scala, and Grails.
• Work with HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML as part of content and application deployment activities.
• Investigate deployment failures, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
• Maintain deployment documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux.
• Strong Shell scripting experience.
• Experience with Jenkins and/or Bamboo for CI/CD and release pipelines.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting application/content deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SVN and Git.
• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Box API or API-based content delivery integrations.

Good to Have

• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Knowledge of Perl or Scala.
• Experience with Grails.
• Knowledge of HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale content deployment environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and release management processes.
