NYC (Primarily In-Person) | Full-Time

Base salary: $90,000–$110,000

Abbode is a modern personalization brand redefining embroidery through elevated design and storytelling. We’re hiring a highly creative, hands-on Senior Content Lead to help shape our content across social media, campaigns and every digital touchpoint.

You’ll work closely with our Founder and Creative Director and report to the Director of Marketing, Brand & Growth, translating our brand vision into original, consistent and culturally relevant content. You should love taking an idea from concept and shoot planning through filming, photography and the final edit.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Develop original concepts for Instagram, TikTok, launches, campaigns and everyday brand storytelling.

• Film, photograph and edit short-form video and photo content.

• Create content tailored to each platform, from polished campaigns to spontaneous, personality-driven social content.

• Capture the people, products, customization process and New York energy behind Abbode.

• Be comfortable appearing in content when the concept calls for it.

Creative Production

• Plan and lead recurring shoots, including concepts, mood boards, locations, talent, props and shot lists.

• Work closely with photographers, creators and other creative partners.

• Turn creative direction into an organized content plan aligned with launches and seasonal moments.

• Manage projects from initial idea through final delivery and maintain an organized photo and video asset library.

• Review content performance and apply those learnings to future work.

Working Style

• Highly organized, proactive and attentive to detail, with strong follow-through.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.

• Collaborative, resourceful and open to direct feedback.

• Excited to be in the store, at shoots and behind the scenes, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant content experience with a fashion, beauty, lifestyle, accessories or consumer brand.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and excellent short-form video work.

• Strong skills in creative concept development, filming, photography and editing.

• An understanding of what makes content feel native to Instagram and TikTok.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or other photo and video editing tools.

• NYC-based and comfortable working primarily in person.
