We pride ourselves on professionalism, strong client relationships, practical problem-solving, and a collaborative team culture. With a strong pipeline of projects and continued business growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team.

The Role

We are seeking a self motivated and result-oriented Senior Contracts Administrator to support the commercial delivery of construction projects from procurement through to completion. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in contract administration, procurement, design management, cost control, subcontractor management, and project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within a supportive and ambitious construction business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer head contract obligations, including notices, claims, variations, and extension of time submissions in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Manage subcontract procurement from tendering through to award, including scope review, negotiation, and subcontract execution.
  • Prepare, assess, and process subcontractor progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
  • Assess and manage head contract variations, including pricing, substantiation, and submission to the client or superintendent.
  • Track project costs, commitments, and forecast final project outcomes in coordination with the project team.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing contractual risk, including delay analysis, entitlement assessments, and dispute avoidance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of contractual correspondence, including notices and responses to client/superintendent determinations.
  • Maintain compliance with head contract and subcontract conditions, including security of payment legislation requirements.
  • Coordinate with site teams, design consultants, and procurement teams to ensure commercial alignment with construction progress.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly project reporting, including cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and claim summaries.
  • Manage subcontractor compliance documentation, insurance, warranties, and statutory requirements.
  • Support resolution of commercial disputes and assist in preparation of contractual claims where required.
  • Participate and add value to Design Management by identifying value management opportunities, and review of documentation to ensure thorough documentation of scope.
  • Act as a mentor for peers and project staff.
