The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Senior Controller to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact building projects.

Location: Porto, Portugal | Seniority level: Senior

Job Responsibilities – What you will build:

In this role, you will contribute directly to shaping our future and creating tangible impact.

You will:

• Monthly PMO validation for profitability control of the most significant projects;
• Backlog follow-up, ensuring visibility over the company's future revenues;
• Monitoring of billing/invoicing;
• Support in the monthly market closing process;
• Monitoring of financial performance and key KPI's;
• Support and close follow-up with business managers and management/direction;
• Reporting;
• Support in the preparation/forecasting of annual budgets;
• Ensure timely responses to financial auditors.

Job Requirements – What will help you thrive:

You will likely succeed in this role if you bring:

• Degree and/or Master's in Accounting, Finance or a similar field;
• 4/6 years of professional experience in similar roles, within consulting, audit, or a multinational environment;
• Proficiency in computer/IT tools;
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with complex financial files;
• Knowledge of SAGE ERP (preferred);
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes;
• Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English (spoken and written);
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Functional autonomy, dynamism, planning and organizational skills;
• Problem-solving attitude and ability to manage incidents independently.
