Senior Conversational AI Designer

We are looking for a Senior Designer, Conversational AI to design intuitive, human-centered AI experiences across chat and voice. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve conversational flows, optimize LLM responses, and create seamless user interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design multi-turn conversational flows, dialogue strategies, and error recovery experiences.
• Develop and optimize prompts to improve LLM response quality and AI behavior.
• Design integrated voice, text, and visual experiences.
• Analyze conversation data to improve user experience and performance.
• Partner with engineering teams on NLU curation and conversational AI implementation.
• Ensure accessible, inclusive, and transparent AI interactions.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing complex chat/voice experiences or working in writing or digital product teams.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience designing conversational AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, bot platforms, and prompt engineering.
• Experience developing dialogue flows aligned with brand voice and user needs.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A digital portfolio showcasing relevant conversational AI or dialogue design projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI personas and scalable conversational design frameworks.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of ethical AI, accessibility, and plain-language principles.
• Healthcare or health insurance industry experience is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS) is mandatory.
