What You'll Do

• Write clear, engaging and accurate product descriptions across apparel, footwear, accessories and lifestyle categories.
• Translate product details (fabrication, fit, construction, finishes and styling cues) into copy that informs and inspires.
• Craft short editorial narratives that give products context, whether that's a designer's point of view, an occasion or a styling suggestion.
• Maintain consistency in voice, terminology, formatting and structure across large volumes of SKUs.
• Adapt tone and style to suit different brands, categories and price points while staying true to our house style.
• Verify product attributes against specs, samples and imagery, and never include claims that can't be supported.
• Proofread and self-edit rigorously to ensure copy is free of grammatical errors, repetition and incorrect terminology.
• Revise copy based on feedback from editors and merchandising teams, and follow editorial guidelines closely.
• Contribute to the upkeep of style guides, glossaries and fashion terminology references.
• Collaborate with buying, merchandising, styling and studio teams to gather accurate product information.

Qualifications

• Strong writing skills, including experience creating clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for diverse formats.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in marketing-oriented writing and proofreading to ensure accuracy, coherence, and high-quality deliverables.
• Experience working with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or luxury brands is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, creative environment in Mumbai.
