Senior Cost Accountant

The Cost Accounting Analyst supports centralized financial operations through end-to-end accounting, reconciliations, settlements, billing support, reporting, controls, compliance, and business performance analysis across multiple business units or operational areas. The role partners with relevant functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, Finance, and business leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely issue resolution, process compliance, and standardized service delivery. This position analyzes operational and financial data, resolves exceptions, supports business decisions, and drives continuous improvement across supported processes.

JOB FOCUS:

• Execute accounting, reconciliation, settlement, billing, and reporting activities for assigned business units, vendors, customers, and operational processes.
• Perform account reconciliations, transaction validation, balance-sheet reviews, and issue resolution to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Support settlement administration, payment validation, invoice review, dispute management, and financial adjustments.
• Prepare and analyze financial, operational, compliance, and performance reports, dashboards, scorecards, and leadership-ready insights.
• Monitor key performance indicators, financial trends, variances, exceptions, aging, service levels, and control compliance.
• Investigate recurring process issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions through closure.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for Finance, Operations, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Billing, suppliers, customers, and business leadership.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, journal entry support, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready records, documentation, workpapers, and supporting schedules.
• Support compliance with company policies, financial controls, audit requirements, regulatory standards, and departmental procedures.
• Drive standardization, automation, simplification, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting, finance operations, financial reporting, or business-finance experience, including independent process ownership.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or operational areas and coordinating cross-functional issue resolution.
• Experience with reconciliations, reporting, financial analysis, controls, compliance, and period-end close activities.
• Experience supporting process standardization, continuous improvement, transformation, shared services, or centralization initiatives preferred.

Work Arrangement: 4x a week RTO and 10pm to 7am MNL time.
