Senior Creative Project Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager owns execution across the entire organization — not just client delivery. This is the person “in the weeds” on every active engagement, making sure both client-facing work and internal initiatives move on time, on scope, and at the standard DJS is known for. They lead the PM chain (VA/Client PM, Creative Director, Digital Strategist, Talent/Relations Manager) and are the connective tissue keeping the studio’s full workload currently 8+ active client engagements — running without things falling through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

Client & External Execution

• Own end-to-end project management across all active client engagements
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and client communication so nothing slips
• Oversee talent/relations and creative execution as it applies to client work
• Serve as the primary point of accountability when the Founder isn’t directly involved in a project

Internal Coordination

• Drive internal initiatives and operational projects alongside client work
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration inside DJS
• Keep the PM chain (VA/Client PM, Creative Director, Digital Strategist, Talent/Relations Mngr) aligned, unblocked, and working efficiently

Team Leadership

• Directly manage: VA/Client Project Manager, Creative Director (and their reports — Creative/Marketing Manager, Design/Video/Copy), Digital Strategist (and Social Media Manager), Talent/Relations Manager
• Set priorities and resolve bottlenecks across the PM chain
• Report project health and risks directly to the Founder/Lead Strategist

Systems & Process

• Operate within the DJS IPT (Initiative → Project → Task) Framework in Monday.com
• Maintain visibility into all active workstreams for the Founder and Leadership Team

• The PM chain runs as a cohesive unit, not siloed departments
• Internal projects get the same rigor as client deliverables
• Leadership is looped in on what matters, shielded from what doesn’t

Ideal Candidate

• Proven project/program management experience, ideally across multiple simultaneous client accounts
• Comfortable managing people (4 direct reports) and process at the same time
• Strong communicator — client-facing polish plus internal team leadership
• Systems-minded; experience with Monday.com or similar PM tools a plus
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-division creative/strategy environment
