Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Polyester Customer Technical Service (CTS)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer - Polyester Customer Technical Service (CTS) to provide technical support and manage customer-related technical activities for PET products.

The role will act as a technical interface between B2B customers and Indorama’s internal Technical, Quality, and Plant Operations teams, handling customer technical requirements, technical issues, audits, quality matters, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the PET, Polyester, PET Preform, Petrochemical, or Continuous Process Chemical industry, combined with experience in Customer Technical Service/Technical Support, Quality, Audits, Data Analysis, and Problem Solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Customer Technical Service (CTS) activities for PET customers.

• Act as the technical interface between customers and internal Technical, Quality, and Plant Operations teams.

• Handle and coordinate customer technical issues, requirements, and technical inquiries.

• Coordinate and support customer audits and technical audits.

• Coordinate and support ISO audits, including documentation preparation, records, and follow-up actions.

• Manage and maintain PET technical and quality documentation.

• Maintain audit records and ensure timely follow-up and closure of audit findings/recommendations.

• Coordinate with Plant Operations, Quality, and other relevant functions to investigate technical issues and implement improvement actions.

• Perform statistical analysis of plant and product data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.

• Monitor and maintain plant data recording and reporting related to PET products and customer requirements.

• Support or lead Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement projects.

• Analyze customer profiles and technical requirements.

• Coordinate product allocation based on customer and product requirements.

• Prepare and consolidate technical, quality, audit, and management reports.

• Support other CTS-related activities and projects as required by management.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Chemical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
