  • Lead root cause analysis and turn lessons learned into stronger controls, detections and processes

Vulnerability Management & Penetration Testing

  • Oversee and actively participate in vulnerability management across infrastructure, applications and cloud; define remediation priorities and track closure with system owners
  • Coordinate and guide penetration testing engagements, translating findings into clear, actionable reports for development teams and system owners

Collaboration & Mentoring

  • Mentor and support colleagues, helping raise the technical depth and security maturity of the team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, DevOps and business teams, acting as a trusted security advisor across the organization

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related technology field
  • 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience in the cyber security domain
  • Deep hands-on expertise with security technologies: EDR, SIEM, WAF, PAM, CASB and vulnerability management tools
  • Proven experience building SIEM detection content (use cases, correlation rules, dashboards)
  • Strong experience in security architecture design and cloud security
  • Deep expertise in cyber security incident handling, from investigation and containment to root cause analysis
  • Solid understanding of penetration testing methodologies and experience coordinating testing engagements and remediation with technical teams
  • Recognized cyber security certifications are strongly preferred, such as offensive (OSCP, GPEN, eWPT, eCPPT, CEH), defensive (SC-200, CySA+, BTL1) or cloud security (AZ-500)
  • Background in regulated or high-transaction environments (e.g. gaming, banking, fintech, telecoms) is a plus
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken

Core competencies of a successful candidate:

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to assess risks, identify root causes and drive effective solutions
  • Quality-driven mindset, focused on continuous improvement, innovation and the adoption of industry best practices
