Job Summary

Innover Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer with strong expertise in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), ethical hacking, security assessments, and risk management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience identifying security vulnerabilities, conducting penetration tests, recommending remediation measures, and strengthening the security posture of applications, networks, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web applications, mobile applications, APIs, networks, and infrastructure.
• Perform ethical hacking activities to identify security weaknesses and potential attack vectors.
• Execute penetration testing using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Identify, analyze, validate, and document security vulnerabilities, including their severity and potential business impact.
• Prepare comprehensive security assessment reports with actionable remediation recommendations.
• Perform security assessments aligned with OWASP Top 10, CWE, CVE, and other relevant security standards.
• Conduct network security assessments, configuration reviews, and security audits.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Perform retesting and validate security fixes.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security best practices.
• Mentor junior security team members and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security, VAPT, and Ethical Hacking.
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, Wireshark, Kali Linux, and OWASP ZAP.
• Good understanding of OWASP Top 10, network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and common attack vectors.
• Knowledge of web application, API, network, and infrastructure security testing.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, session management, encryption, and access control vulnerabilities.
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and recommend effective remediation measures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Certification

Candidates must possess at least one recognized ethical hacking or penetration testing certification, such as:

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• CompTIA PenTest+
• GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)
• eLearnSecurity Certified Professional Penetration Tester (eCPPT)

Note: An active, verifiable certification relevant to ethical hacking or penetration testing is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise-level security assessments and security audits.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and related security standards.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts and security testing in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Experience working with remediation tracking and vulnerability management processes.
