Senior Cyber Security Ops Analyst - Red Team

Stelfox is supporting one of our enterprise clients who are looking to add a Cyber security professional to their Red Team for offensive security initiatives.

The main objective of their Info / Cyber security team is to protect confidential and sensitive information and to maintain operational stability resulting from cyber-attacks.

As a key member of the red team, you will specialise in offensive security to effectively simulate cyberattacks and identify vulnerabilities across the organisation.

Firstly, a deep understanding of various attack vectors and techniques is essential, including knowledge of malware, social engineering, and exploit development. Additionally, proficiency in network and application penetration testing is crucial for identifying weaknesses in infrastructure and software. Strong analytical skills are necessary to assess risks and prioritize targets accurately. Effective communication skills are vital for conveying findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Finally, adaptability and creativity are indispensable traits for devising innovative attack strategies and staying ahead of evolving threats in the cybersecurity landscape.

The preferred candidate will have:

• Degree in computer science, computer security or equivalent.
• 4-7 years commercial experience working in a Cyber security operational role, preferably as part of or closely linked to a red team.
• Strong understanding of information security concepts and security trends and practices.
• Solid security concepts that include some of the following - CISA, MITRE, NIST, TIBAS, CREST, TIBER-EU frameworks
• Experience with tools like ServiceNow, confluence and other preferred.

This roles requires 2 days onsite in the office in Waterford with 3 days WFH.
