Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: BGC, Taguig City
Work Setup & Shift: Hybrid | Night Shift
Salary: PHP 70,000 – PHP 92,000 (Basic Salary)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess security threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks across systems, networks, and endpoints.
• Support cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability assessment, security monitoring, and endpoint protection.
• Investigate security alerts and findings, recommend appropriate actions, and coordinate remediation with relevant IT teams.
• Help maintain and improve security policies, configurations, and controls to protect company systems and sensitive data.
• Support security patching, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in implementing security measures to reduce potential threats.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security findings, remediation activities, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve security issues and improve security processes.
• Support security audits, compliance reviews, and other cybersecurity initiatives.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or a related field.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, endpoint protection, or threat detection.
• Knowledge of network security, operating systems, security controls, and common cybersecurity threats.
• Understanding of vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, security risk assessment, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with security standards, compliance requirements, and risk management principles is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with different IT teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
