Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

An employer is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support mission-critical defense and technology initiatives by solving complex operational and engineering challenges.

The Role

• Apply cybersecurity engineering principles throughout the system lifecycle to identify and reduce cyber risk.
• Build and apply threat models using methodologies such as STRIDE, PASTA, or attack trees.
• Analyze complex systems, networks, software architectures, configurations, and interfaces from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Identify vulnerabilities, attack techniques, system weaknesses, and potential mission impacts.
• Translate cybersecurity findings into actionable engineering recommendations.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity engineering principles, system and network security, vulnerability analysis, and cyber risk management.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
