Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to provide freelance, on-demand cybersecurity support in Riyadh.

The successful candidate will help protect enterprise IT infrastructure, identify and mitigate security risks, investigate security incidents, and support the implementation of cybersecurity controls and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Identify vulnerabilities and security risks across IT infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and security solutions.
• Perform security assessments and vulnerability management activities.
• Support firewall, endpoint security, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
• Analyze security logs and investigate suspicious activities.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Support security hardening and remediation activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
• Prepare security reports and technical documentation.
• Support cybersecurity projects, audits, and infrastructure improvements.
• Provide on-site technical support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available to work on an on-demand freelance basis in Riyadh.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
