Senior Cybersecurity Engineer | Cloud & Microsoft Security

At RPL International, we're looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join Unique Vacations, Inc. / Sandals Resorts International in Panama City, Panama.

We're seeking a hands-on cybersecurity professional with strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Identity Security, AWS Cloud Security, and Endpoint Protection to strengthen enterprise security and protect critical systems and sensitive data.

Position Details

• Location: Panama City, Panama.
• Work Model: On-site / Hybrid (per company policy).

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 , including IAM, Conditional Access, and privileged access.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across cloud, endpoint, email, and network environments.
• Manage EDR solutions , supporting threat hunting, incident response, and vulnerability remediation.
• Secure AWS and Snowflake environments, leveraging AWS Security Hub and cloud security best practices.
• Strengthen email and identity security using Darktrace and related technologies.
• Support security compliance and risk management aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS .

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID security .
• Experience with AWS Security , including AWS Security Hub.
• Experience with EDR platforms such as SentinelOne or CrowdStrike.
• Knowledge of CSPM/CWPP solutions , preferably Orca Security.
• Experience securing Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms .
• Hands-on experience with Darktrace Email & Identity Security .
• Strong knowledge of incident response, threat detection, and security frameworks .
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Background in hospitality, travel, or other data-intensive industries.
