Senior Data Analyst (1 yr Contract)

About the role

Work with the Global Business Development team to support projects linked to Development vision, expansion plans and customer segmentation analysis. This role involves preparing, cleaning, and validating datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for generating actionable insights, performing data engineering, data transformation and data modelling tasks, and designing dashboards to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Global Business Development team to support projects linked to Development vision, expansion plans and customer segmentation analysis
• Prepare, clean, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for generating actionable insights
• Perform various data engineering, data transformation and data modelling tasks using Python
• Experienced with SQL for query and aggregation
• Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards
• Apply data analytics or machine learning algorithms
• Prepare geospatial and demographic datasets for integration with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support geomarketing initiatives and actions

Requirements

• 5 years working experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineering role with relevant skillsets
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Tableau/Power BI and G-Suite especially G-sheet and G-slides
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with collaborating cross-functionally with people from different levels, backgrounds and experiences
• Experience in statistical modeling, econometrics, data analysis
• Experience with Forecasting techniques and ML algorithms
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience with BigQuery and Databricks
