Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Supply team at Baly, you are a trusted expert and key contributor within both the team and the wider organization. You will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Product, translating business needs into structured analytical workstreams and delivering insights that are actionable, scalable, and impactful.

The Supply team’s mission is to ensure driver availability across all active geographies—enabling a seamless customer experience while improving driver economics and overall business performance.

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the end-to-end driver journey by identifying opportunities, removing friction points, and guiding decisions through advanced analytics and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Product, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive business decisions through data-backed insights
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data products to support decision-making
• Leverage advanced analytics, statistical methods, and AI/ML models to improve prediction accuracy and targeting
• Optimize and enhance existing algorithms and analytical frameworks
• Identify opportunities to improve supply-demand forecasting, driver engagement, and ride allocation
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B testing) to evaluate product and operational changes
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across different data sources
• Proactively identify analytical challenges and propose scalable solutions
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and infrastructure
• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
• Proficiency in Python (or similar) for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and data modeling
• Experience with machine learning or AI techniques is a strong plus
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
