Movara Co helps organizations deliver technology and software work properly, from initial assessment and solution design through implementation, ongoing support, and performance review.
We work with clients that value direct communication, dependable delivery, and a named point of contact who stays accountable from first conversation through to handover. Our team focuses on understanding the client’s operation quickly, delivering to a clear scope and timeline, and using data to recommend practical next steps.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support live client engagements across Movara Co’s technology and software practice.
You will turn client and operational data into clear analysis that improves decisions, delivery, and performance. The role is not limited to producing dashboards. You will work alongside delivery colleagues and, where appropriate, directly with clients to understand the question behind the data, test assumptions, explain findings, and help shape the next action.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with visible responsibility from the outset. You will own your workstreams, communicate risks early, and contribute to improving how the wider team works.
What you will do
- Lead analysis work across active client technology and software engagements.
- Work with colleagues and clients to define the business question, available data, and measures of success.
- Collect, validate, clean, and combine data from client systems, spreadsheets, reports, and other relevant sources.
- Build repeatable reporting, dashboards, data models, and analysis that support project delivery and performance reviews.
- Identify trends, exceptions, risks, and improvement opportunities in operational and software-related data.
- Translate technical findings into concise, practical recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Present progress, findings, and risks clearly during internal and client conversations.
- Support discovery and solution-design work by providing evidence on current performance and operational needs.
- Help assess outcomes against the goals agreed at the start of an engagement.
- Improve data documentation, reporting standards, and analytical processes across the team.
What you will bring
- Significant experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured data.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability, including data validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable tools.
- Confidence using Python, R, or similar tools for data preparation or analysis is preferred.
- A methodical approach to data quality, documentation, and version control.
- The ability to explain complex analysis in a way that helps clients and colleagues make decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with technology, software, operations, implementation, or service-delivery data is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, business, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Working at Movara Co
Movara Co is a small, focused team where your work is visible and closely connected to real client delivery. The business operates with a flat structure, direct access to senior colleagues, and a deliberate limit on the number of live engagements each team member carries.
You will have the opportunity to develop new skills, take on broader responsibility over time, and work in an environment that values reliable ownership, proactive communication, and considered work over unnecessary internal process.
Movara Co is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds.
