Senior Data Intelligence Analyst – Health Equity

Remote | Full-Time Candidates must reside in one of the following states:

Senior Data Intelligence Analyst focused on Health Equity.

This role combines healthcare data analytics, population health, and business intelligence to identify trends, uncover disparities, and provide meaningful insights that support better patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a Data Analyst/Developer with strong SQL skills, Power BI experience, healthcare data expertise, and a background in Population Health. Experience with Epic Healthy Planet is highly desirable, though candidates with population health experience in another EMR will also be considered.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities related to health equity and population health.
• Translate business and clinical needs into data requirements, specifications, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Conduct statistical analysis, including regression analysis, to support healthcare and population health initiatives.
• Analyze data from internal and external sources while ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Support reporting and analytics related to population health, clinical outcomes, and healthcare operations.
• Participate in requirements gathering, process improvement, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide recommendations based on current and projected data to support strategic decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of SQL experience with the ability to write moderately to highly complex queries.
• Strong experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and healthcare applications.
• Experience with Population Health analytics, preferably Epic Healthy Planet, or comparable population health experience with another EMR.
• Experience performing statistical analysis, including regression analysis.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.

Epic/Healthcare Analytics Experience:

• Experience with Epic Clarity, Reporting Workbench, and/or Radar is highly desirable.
• Epic Healthy Planet experience is preferred.
• Epic Clarity certification, particularly Epic Inpatient, is preferred.
• Experience developing Epic Inpatient Clarity reports is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Epic Clarity Certification preferred.
• SQL Server certification preferred.

Additional Experience That Is a Plus

Experience with tools or technologies such as Python, R, Oracle, SAS, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects is beneficial.

Candidates will be asked to complete a SQL assessment as part of the interview process.
