Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, Reporting & Analysis, you will join our Data Science, Insights & Analytics team in Vilnius. The team works like an internal consultancy: departments across Western Union come to us with business questions, and we turn data into insights and reporting that help them do their jobs better

• You will find patterns in data with SQL (Snowflake), Power BI and Python to answer key business questions and spot opportunities
• You will build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards, including taking ownership of existing reporting
• You will write SQL queries, procedures and ETL processes, following team standards for building and maintaining tables
• You will gather, join and clean data from different sources to support automated reporting
• You will build reporting that follows the customer journey and highlights pain points that need quick action
• You will work with stakeholders across teams and seniority levels, helping them define what they need and suggesting insights they hadn’t thought of
• You will present findings clearly to non-technical audiences and tell the story behind the data

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field, or at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Analyst or Product Analyst

Strong, hands-on SQL skills used daily (Snowflake is a plus)

Hands-on experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI (Tableau or Looker experience is also welcome)

Experience joining, cleaning and transforming data from different sources

A track record of using data to identify business problems and deliver insights

Curiosity and a love of telling stories with data

Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels

Fluent English

Nice to have: Python, Spanish

Work Shift

This role follows a hybrid model with three full days per week in our Vilnius office. Candidates must already be based in Lithuania with the right to work there

Salary

The annual gross base salary range is €30,750 – €41,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
