Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with 8 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management to analyze business requirements, identify trends, develop dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

* Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.

* Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.

* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.

* Create KPIs, metrics, and performance reports for business stakeholders.

* Use Excel for data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.

* Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

* Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy.

* Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and cross-functional teams.

* Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes.

* Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

* Support ad hoc analysis and resolve data-related business questions.

Required Skills

* 8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

* Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.

* Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.

* Experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and KPI reporting.

* Knowledge of data cleaning, data validation, and data quality management.

* Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to gather requirements and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Python or R for data analysis.

* Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.

* Familiarity with statistical analysis and forecasting.

* Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Azure or AWS.

* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
