Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Data & Analytics Automation Specialist to design, develop, automate, test, and operate enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions.

This role combines deep expertise in Power BI (40%) and Microsoft Fabric (30%) with hands-on experience in Process Automation (10%), Analytics Quality Engineering (10%), and AI / Microsoft Copilot / Cloud Technologies (10%).

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality data products that enable business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. The role covers the entire analytics lifecycle, including data engineering, semantic modelling, dashboard development, testing, automation, deployment, monitoring, and AI-enabled productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI (40%)

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create and maintain semantic models and star-schema data models.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations.
• Optimize report and dataset performance.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance standards.
• Define reporting standards and visualization best practices.
• Support self-service analytics initiatives.

Microsoft Fabric (30%)

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Develop Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake architecture.
• Build and maintain Data Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2.
• Implement end-to-end data engineering solutions.
• Orchestrate ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
• Establish monitoring and operational support processes.
• Implement data governance and security controls.

Process Automation (10%)

• Automate reporting and business processes.
• Develop solutions using Power Automate.
• Build automation scripts using Python and/or PowerShell.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for analytics solutions.
• Reduce manual effort through workflow automation.
• Standardize deployment and release processes.

Analytics Quality Engineering (10%)

UI Testing

• Define and execute automated testing of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Validate report navigation, filtering, drill-through behaviour, and visual rendering.
• Create automated UI validation scenarios.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Backend Testing

• Test Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines and Dataflows.
• Validate Lakehouse and Warehouse processing.
• Test semantic models and business logic implementations.
• Verify data transformations and integration layers.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Data Quality Testing

• Develop automated data quality checks.
• Validate KPI calculations and business rules.
• Perform source-to-target reconciliation.
• Detect missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or invalid records.
• Implement data quality monitoring and alerting.
• Support root-cause analysis and issue resolution.

AI / Copilot / Cloud Technologies (10%)

• Leverage Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and analytics delivery.
• Apply AI-assisted reporting and analytics use cases.
• Integrate Power BI and Fabric solutions with Azure services.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and their business value.
• Promote responsible, secure, and compliant AI usage.
• Support AI-driven process improvements and insights generation.

Education Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
