• Owns the future-state data platform strategy as the organization moves toward consolidating on Databricks in AWS

• Balances strategic platform leadership with hands-on technical execution, including direct work inside the Databricks environment
• Provides leadership for the broader data ecosystem, likely including future alignment with pipeline integration resources

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• Deep hands-on experience in Databricks, including architecture, governance, implementation, and platform management
• Experience standing up or modernizing enterprise data platforms in complex, multi-system environments
• Strong understanding of data architecture, transformation lifecycles, medallion architecture, and platform connectivity
• Ability to lead and grow a team of Data Engineers
• Ability to enable AI use cases through a well-structured, scalable data foundation
• Background in HVAC, field services, PE-backed platforms, multi-site businesses, or other service-based industries would be highly valuable
