Data Architect – SQL / Adobe Experience Manager

Location: Columbia, SC — Fully Onsite

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract with Possible Extension

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; 40 hours per week

About the Opportunity

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Data Architect who enjoys designing reliable databases, solving complex data challenges, and supporting business applications.

In this role, you will help organize how information is stored, connected, and used across enterprise systems. You will combine strong database architecture and SQL skills with hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 and Java to develop, improve, and support applications and reporting tools.

What You’ll Do

• Design data models and relational databases that meet business needs.
• Write and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to move and process data.
• Troubleshoot database issues and improve performance.
• Develop and support applications using Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 and Java.
• Support testing and deployment of AEM and Power BI applications.
• Work with business and technical teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation providing coverage outside regular business hours, including nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of database modeling, architecture, and development experience.
• 10+ years of advanced SQL experience.
• 9+ years of experience working in state government environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 .
• 4+ years of Java development, application design, and coding experience.
• 5+ years of experience using Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with cloud-based solutions.

Additional Requirements

• Must currently reside in South Carolina and work 100% onsite in Columbia .
• Must be available for an onsite interview.
• Must participate in the shared 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Employment is contingent upon required background, credit, and South Carolina tax-history screenings. Applicants must be current on applicable South Carolina tax filings and payments.
