About Us

This digital consultancy helps organisations improve their customer experience through technology, data and digital transformation. Its work combines an internally developed data platform with client consultancy and engineering projects.

With growing demand for complex data solutions, they’re looking for a Senior Data Architect to strengthen a team of three mid-level engineers and one senior architect. You’ll take technical ownership, lead client discussions and support the team’s development.

You’ll Be

• Owning data architecture: Translate clients’ business needs and existing systems into clear designs and practical implementation plans.
• Leading client conversations: Gather requirements, challenge assumptions and explain technical options to business and engineering stakeholders.
• Guiding delivery: Support engineers through implementation, resolve complex problems and maintain architectural direction.
• Staying hands-on: Explore solutions and contribute directly where your technical expertise is needed.
• Mentoring engineers: Review designs, share knowledge and strengthen colleagues’ technical judgement.
• Sharing senior responsibility: Work alongside the existing architect to support larger projects.

You’ll Bring

• Proven experience independently owning complex data projects, from requirements through to delivery.
• Strong practical knowledge of data architecture and engineering .
• Confidence working with clients and explaining architectural trade-offs.
• The ability to translate business requirements into solutions engineers can build and maintain.
• Sound judgement when balancing technical quality, project constraints and long-term needs.
• A collaborative approach and experience mentoring engineers.
• Fluent Dutch for local client engagements when needed.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
• A consultancy background or experience delivering projects for different clients.
• Experience with broader digital transformation projects.
• Previous technical leadership or project coordination responsibilities.
