Senior Data Center Engineer (Electrical Design)

Job descriptions:

• The Senior Data Center Engineer (Electrical Design) is responsible for the design, review, and implementation of electrical systems for mission-critical data center facilities. This role ensures that electrical infrastructure is designed to meet reliability, scalability, efficiency, and regulatory requirements while supporting high-availability operations for cloud, enterprise, and AI data centers.
• Lead the electrical design of data center projects from concept design through detailed engineering and construction support.
• Develop and review electrical system designs, including: Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems, UPS systems, Generator systems, Switchgear and transformers, Grounding and lightning protection systems, Emergency power systems, Lighting and small power systems
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Perform load analysis, short-circuit studies, coordination studies, and power quality assessments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Civil, Structural, ICT, and Commissioning engineers.
• Support procurement activities, technical evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Identify design risks and recommend mitigation strategies to improve reliability and sustainability.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Data Center, Mission-Critical Facility, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, or Industrial Infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of:
