Senior Data Centre Operator (Ref: IT-INT-ITO-SDCO-LI)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager (IT Operations), the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

• To perform 24-hour shift work on day-to-day data centre operations
• To monitor the proper functioning of hardware, software, systems and data centre facilities
• To work with contractors on routine and emergency maintenance
• To perform service requests, incident handling & resolution, system administrative and reporting tasks, logging of events, documentation of works, and other duties as assigned
• To be an owner of certain assigned processes and drive for excellence in those owned processes
• To be the primary contact point for IT Service Desk after office hours

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Associate Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in data centre or computer room operations
• Experience in SAP and professional qualification on ITIL a definite advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Data Centre Operator.

Working Location: North Point
