Senior Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and optimize BigQuery datasets, procedures, views, and data models.
• Create and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or GCP Looker
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) activities from multiple enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and performance-tuning solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support release management and deployment activities using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance standards are met.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in GCP Data Engineering/Azure Data Bricks.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development and database performance tuning.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud dashboard and reporting development.
• Experience working with BigQuery and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data modelling techniques.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile delivery environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP Looker or Looker Studio.
• Basic understanding of SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) processes and data structures.
• Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Analytics domains.
