Resident Solutions Architect / Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Resident Solutions Architect / Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Databricks to join our team and work closely with clients to design, build, and scale modern data platforms.

This is a hands-on role (not just high-level architecture) where you’ll be actively involved in developing production-grade data solutions while also guiding technical strategy and best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end data platforms using Databricks
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines leveraging Spark and distributed computing
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
• Drive best practices in data engineering , including testing, CI/CD, and production deployments
• Optimize performance, cost, and scalability across data workloads
• Contribute to architecture decisions while remaining deeply involved in implementation
• Support and mentor teams on Databricks capabilities and modern data stack approaches

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics (typically 7+ years)
• Proven track record delivering multiple end-to-end data projects on Databricks
• Deep hands-on expertise with Spark and distributed systems (including performance tuning)
• Solid experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience building and deploying production-grade data pipelines
• Familiarity with CI/CD, MLOps, and modern data platform practices
• Consulting mindset with the ability to work directly with clients and drive solutions

Nice to Have

• Databricks certifications (e.g., Data Engineering Professional)
• Experience with performance optimization and cost efficiency in large-scale data environments
• Exposure to advanced Databricks features across the platform
